No need to shout - we can hear you loud and clear.

Easiest solution to your problem would be to get yourself a USB to RS232 converter cable. Check on Google, you will find a local supplier, and they are very cheap. These map in your OS to a comport, and you can use your existing program (remembering to change your port number to match your USB converter.
